The Five Elements: Yin,
Yang, Quantum This, Quantum That, the Tao, and your Dog….
The first in a series of four which will hopefully engage a lively discussion
on the Five Elements, the Five Phases, the Five Transformations, the Five Rhythms, (or anything
else you may want to call this fascinating paradigm of thought), which is based on the most ancient system
and philosophy of all thought: the Tao.
The Newtonian paradigm of cause and effect
is completely outdated, yet people use this in all areas of their life, from parenting, to dog training, to schoolwork, to
– EVERYTHING!!!
Join us for the first in this series in learning how to apply the understanding of the Five
Elements to our lives, and see how this understanding seamlessly segues into the understanding of Energy Medicine.

Personality Theory
and the Five Elements
Modern psychological theorists, from Freud to Fairbourn, could have learned a thing or two in honing their powers of
observation and intuitive skills from classical Chinese medicine. Are we predestined because of our elemental
nature? Are we a result of our biology or are we conditioned by influences from the Universe? Are
both true? Do the elements influence our biology? How much does
our archetypal element affect us?
This workshop will explore what it really means to “be” a Water, Wood, Fire,
Metal or Earth. A simple questionnaire may help guide you, should
you not be absolutely sure of the element you “came in with”, according to Donna Eden.
The archetypal element is your fundamental truth,
or your soul’s path, so to speak. Rich with experience already, predetermined by your birth and by
your energies at conception (the three gunas – tamas, rajas, or
sattvic, according to yogic theory), this element ascertains certain organic strengths and/or weaknesses,
how you walk, how you talk, how long you will live, what kind of partner you will attract, how strong your attachment potentiality
will be in terms of bonding, etc.
Understanding these elements according to one’s individuality can bring us a long way toward understanding personal
health. This study is not only delightful and fun, it is unbelievably empowering.

Five Element Theory and the Energies of Food
Do you crave salt?
Do you crave sweets? If you are an Earth Element, you may be doing yourself
harm if you eat too many sweets at certain times. Yet you may be able to eat as many sweets as you want
at other times with no consequence whatsoever, if you understand your own personal rhythms and the user-friendly meridian
chart. Learning about your own personal abilities will shock you once and for all into understanding why
diets could never, ever work! We are as unique as our fingerprints. Furthermore, if diets worked, there
would only be one!!!
Yin
and yang, acid and alkaline, balance and not-balance, each of these polarities can be understood once and for all in the context
of the individual.
(This
workshop is perfect for parents with kids diagnosed with what I call the diagnosis- de- jour: ADD!!!) Come
and see why…..

Sedating Points, Strengthening Points, Disbursing,
and Tonifying: Oh, those Pesky Points!!!
Come and learn the power in applying Acupuncture points to disburse energy to certain elements,
or meridians, to hold or “control” energies which no longer need to flow in certain directions, how to use points
for pain control, illness, headaches, PMS, seizures, and any other condition or illness one could think of!
Once this system is understood, it becomes quite
simple to apply the very basis of Chinese medicine acupuncture points for correction.
This is the last in the series on the Elements, and this one will be the one you
won’t want to miss!!!
The former three classes are a MUST to come to this one, as well as (and/or) knowledge of Chinese/Energy
Medicine and approval from the instructor.
